Forza Horizon 6 Winter Playlist Guide: All Rewards & Fastest Route to 50 Points

Forza Horizon 6 Winter Playlist Guide: Every Reward Car and the Fastest Route to 50 Points (July 2–9)

Last updated: July 2, 2026

The Winter season of Series 2 — "Horizon Decades" — went live today, July 2, at 14:30 UTC, and runs until next Thursday, July 9, at the same time. That's 10:30am ET / 7:30am PT / 3:30pm UK on both ends, if you're planning your week around resets.

This is the second week of Horizon Decades, which means two things: you've got a fresh set of weekly challenges worth chasing, and every point you earn this week is also stacking toward the bigger Series-wide rewards that carry across all four weeks. If you skipped Summer or Autumn, don't worry — Series points bank cumulatively, so you haven't lost anything by starting now.

Quick answer, if you're short on time

  • Season ends: Thursday, July 9, 2026, 14:30 UTC
  • Points needed to clear the week: 50
  • Requirement to access the Playlist at all: Yellow Wristband (you'll have this within your first hour or two of playing)
  • Where to find it: Pause menu → Campaign → Festival Playlist, or from any Player House

This week's reward cars

Points Car Rarity Worth grinding for?
20 2006 Dodge Ram SRT-10 Rare Yes, easily — you'll hit 20 points without trying
40 2003 Ford F-150 SVT Lightning Rare Yes — comfortable in one sitting

Neither of these is a headline supercar, but they're both genuinely fun trucks with real tuning potential for off-road PR stunts, and they're free — which matters more than it sounds like when Auction House prices for anything decent are still inflated this early in the game's life.

The two cars actually worth planning your whole week around aren't Winter-specific — they're the Series rewards, and they're only available if you keep playing through all four Horizon Decades seasons:

Series Points Car Rarity
80 (cumulative) 1993 Porsche 911 Turbo S Leichtbau Legendary
160 (cumulative) 2018 Lotus Exige Cup 430 Legendary

The Leichtbau is one of the rarest 911s Porsche ever built in real life — only around 80 were made — and it's a new addition to the Horizon reward pool, not a car you've likely already got from a previous game. If you only chase one long-term target this Series, make it this one. The Lotus at 160 points is the real endgame grind and rewards consistency across all four weeks more than any single weekend push.

The fastest way to hit 50 points this week

You don't need to touch everything in the Playlist to clear the season. Based on how the point categories are weighted, here's the order that gets you there with the least wasted time:

  1. Photo Challenge first. It's almost always the single fastest point in the Playlist — find the target, snap it in Horizon Promo, done.
  2. Daily Challenges as they unlock. Each one only takes a minute or two and hands out 5,000 CR plus a point, and they stay completable for the rest of the week even after you first see them.
  3. Treasure Hunt. One clue this season — solve it early since it's a flat point for very little driving once you know the location.
  4. Seasonal Championships / Events. This is where most of your points will actually come from. Check car eligibility before you queue — Performance Index caps and body-type requirements trip up more people than anything else in the Playlist (Lexus and Acura get classed as American cars, not Japanese, which catches a lot of players off guard on region-themed events).
  5. The Trial, last. It's the highest-value single activity but also the longest and the one most likely to fall apart if your convoy quits early. Only worth queuing once you've already banked most of your points elsewhere — don't let it be the thing standing between you and completion if your session is short.

Do the first three and you're already close to halfway there before you've touched a Championship.

A note on tuning

Both of this week's reward vehicles come with stock tunes that are genuinely usable straight out of the Autoshow if the event doesn't require a specific class — the Ram in particular handles better off-road than its size suggests. If you're chasing PI-capped events, drop tire compound and ride height before touching power; most players over-invest in horsepower and then can't hit the eligibility window.

What's next

Winter runs through July 9, then Spring closes out Horizon Decades from July 9–16, with the 2017 Mercedes-AMG GT R and 2017 Saleen S7 LM as that week's rewards. After that, Series 3 — "Italian Exotics" — begins July 16. We'll update this page when Spring goes live, so bookmark it if you're chasing the full Series reward set.

If your Wristband rank is still behind and you're short on time to grind toward this week's rewards, a boosted FH6 account or Credits top-up can get you into eligible-tier races faster — worth a look if you're playing catch-up rather than starting fresh.
